Notes RCC745; Collected from lagoon with salinity ranging from 24ppt to 38ppt. Wild Type (WT). Grows better in glass with blue light, i.e. blue cellophane over the light source; Sub interval 2 weeks. Ecotype - clade C. Genome sequenced. This strain was lost in 2018 but replaced from the Plymouth Culture Collection in 2023.
