For academic and non-profit making organisations: GBP 75.00 per starter culture. For commercial customers: GBP 150.00 per starter culture.

Prices for media and other services see the "Prices" tab on our How To Order page.

If you are logged in to an account prices should be visible, if you don't have an account prices display towards the end of checkout (before submitting an order!). Choose the appropriate Academic/Commercial option at checkout. For any other volume required or query please contact us.

CCAP supplies algal cultures in liquid or solid medium depending on the method of maintenance of the strain. If you require a culture specifically in liquid or on agar, please make a note on the order form, or contact us, and where possible we will comply.

Most of our strains are subcultured to order, please allow 3-4 weeks from the time of ordering. If ordering small seaweeds such as Ectocarpus (which can be slow growing) or cultures that are cryopreserved the waiting time may be longer. If cultures are required urgently we may be able to advise on alternative strains.
